Margaret "Mitzi" Hoag (born on September 25, 1932 in New York City, New York) appears a Mrs. Thompson. a social worker in an orphange which works with the Help Center in placing kids in the Season 7 episode of The Jeffersons titled "All I Want for Christmas". Born in New York City, Mitzi was raised in North Olmsted, OH, a Cleveland suburb.

Career[]

In addition to her appearance on The Jeffersons, Mitzi has made numerous guest role appearances on television, appearing in more than 70 different TV series and films, on such popular shows as Gunsmoke, Family Affair, Hawaii Five-O, Bonanza, Police Woman, The Incredible Hulk, Archie Bunker's Place, Matlock, Little House on The Prairie, and The Facts of Life, to name a few. Among her film appearances. include such films such as Play It As It Lays (1972), Deadly Game (1977), and All Night Long (1981). Mitzi also co-starred with Paul Sorvino in the short-lived CBS-TV sitcom series We'll Get By, which, produced by M*A*S*H series star Alan Alda, also co-starred Willie Aames, later of Eight is Enongh and Charles in Charge TV sitcom series fame. Mitzi has not acted in Hollywood since 1993.
