Trivia
  • The future date is November 23, 1996
  • The Jeffersons moved in their apartment 22 years before 1996
  • When George falls asleep he has 7 stores and been in business 8 years; by 1996 Jefferson Cleanors expanded to 20 stores and been in business 25 years
  • Ralph is able to afford the apartment buildings due to money tips from George Jefferson; when Louise Jefferson gives Ralph a money tip out of old times sake, Ralph remarkes about how $500.00 pays for a gallon of gasoline !
  • In real life in 1996, Amy Carter wasn't president back then. If she was, she was born in 1967 and she would have been 30 or 31 years old in that time and she would not been eligible to run for president back then. Because the president age is 35 years old. Bill Clinton was president in that time.
  • Jessica Jefferson would have been 15 or 16 years old in that time.
