Berlinda Tolbert (born November 4, 1949) appears as Jenny Willis-Jefferson on The Jeffersons TV series. She also appeared in the film Harlem Nights with co-stars Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor.
Berlinda was born one day after actor Mike Evans, the man who played her boyfriend/husband Lionel Jefferson in eight of the eleven seasons of the series. They were both born in North Carolina, he in Salisbury, and she in Charlotte; the two were both raised in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. With the death of Sherman Hemsley in July 2012, Tolbert, Marla Gibbs (Florence), and Damon Evans (Lionel Evans|Lionel #2) are the last surviving members of The Jeffersons original main cast (as of 2020).
