Annie Gagen (born 1951) appeared as a mother in the Season 7 episode of The Jeffersons titled "Calendar Girl". Annie has had an extensive acting career on the stage for many years working at L.A.'s Backstage West, Performance West Coast Ensemble, Theatre West, The Actor's Co-op and The Liberty Theatre, all in Los Angeles.
Annie has worked mostly on TV shows and film, numerous commercials. She studied acting in NYC with Stella Adler later joining her classes when she first came out in Los Angeles and then opened her Studio and Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. with Uta Hagen and Herbert Berghof, and while working here, She then took a summer off to study at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has also studied with some great L.A. teachers, like Milton Katselas while working here, and took classes at UCLA and LMU extension and L.A. City College.[1]
